She attended Concordia College, Mequon and received her BA in Elementary Education. She received her first call to East Point, Georgia and taught 3rd and 5th grades. Within a year, she met her husband and married in Georgia. She became a full-time mother in 1991 and had three beautiful daughters, Rachel, Lindsey and Caitlin. She talked her husband into leaving the South and returned to Wisconsin in 1996, the year Atlanta hosted the Olympics. In the year 1998 they were blessed with a son, Nathan. Her plan was to return to teaching when Nathan was in the first grade. God blessed her with an amazing gift when a 5th grade teaching position opened up right here at Our Redeemer Lutheran in 2005. She feels truly blessed to teach in a top-notch school that she believes in. She knows that all four of her children have had an awesome experience here. She feels blessed to be sharing in that same mission to honor God here in this wonderful place.
